How We Review ESKUTE Rides
Where do the figures come from?
- ESKUTE's product pages and spec sheets: motor rating, battery voltage and amp-hours, rated range, top speed, tires, brakes, suspension, payload, bike weight and rider fit.
- ESKUTE's product descriptions for features that aren't in a spec table, such as the V100 needing a brake squeeze before the motor engages, or the NOVA Mini's nitrogen-filled shocks.
- The questions riders search for most, such as battery life, top speed, folding and how the NOVA X compares with the NOVA Mini. When a question comes up often and ESKUTE has published the answer, we answer it on the product page.
How is battery size compared?
Range claims depend on rider weight, terrain, speed and assist level, so we also give battery size in watt-hours: volts multiplied by amp-hours. A 48V 13Ah battery is 624 Wh, and a 48V 23Ah battery is about 1,104 Wh. Rated ranges are ESKUTE's figures, and we say whether a figure assumes pedal assist.
What if two figures disagree?
It happens. Charging times, battery capacity and maximum load sometimes differ between ESKUTE's product page and its spec sheet. In that case we either state both or use the more cautious figure, and we say which. A spec that ESKUTE hasn't published is left out, not estimated.
How are the pages organized?
- Product pages cover one model: specs, strengths, limits, who it fits and common questions.
- Category pages for e-bikes, electric trikes and electric dirt bikes explain how to choose within each group.
- Comparisons put two bikes side by side on the same measures, using each brand's published specs.
- The ESKUTE review ties the range together.
What about safety and local rules?
Speed, class and age rules for e-bikes and electric dirt bikes vary by state and city. Where ESKUTE gives an age range, a class or a safety note, we repeat it, and we point out when a bike's speed means local rules may limit where it can be ridden.
