ESKUTE Fat Tire E-Bikes

Two moped-style fat tire e-bikes with front and rear suspension, a 7-speed drivetrain and a throttle: the compact 16" V100 and the larger 20" V300.

ESKUTE's two fat tire e-bikes share a moped-style frame, full suspension, a 1500W peak motor and a 7-speed drivetrain. The choice between them comes down to four things.

Wheel size and handling

The ESKUTE V100 16" Fat Tire Electric Bike rolls on 16" × 4.0" tires, which keeps the bike short and easy to park or store. The ESKUTE V300 20" Fat Tire Electric Bike moves up to 20" × 4.0" tires, which roll over bumps more easily and suit the mixed surfaces ESKUTE names for it: paved roads, mountain roads, sand, snow and mud.

Battery in watt-hours

Both run at 48V, so amp-hours show the difference. The V100's 13Ah pack holds 624 Wh, rated for up to 60 miles in pedal assist. The V300's 20.8Ah pack holds about 998 Wh, rated for up to 85 miles at most in pedal assist, and the V300 page also offers a 41.6Ah version. If your round trip is long, the V300 is the safer pick.

Riding modes and controls

The V100 gives you throttle, pedal assist and manual pedaling. The V300 adds Boost and Cruise modes, NFC keyless unlock, a full-color center display and a hydraulic rear brake.

Rider size and load

The V100 weighs 70.2 lb, is rated for riders up to 350 lb, and ESKUTE's fit chart runs from 5'0" to 6'2". Neither bike folds, so measure your storage space.

Choose the V100 for short trips and tight storage, and the V300 for longer commutes and rougher ground. Our ESKUTE review compares these bikes with the rest of the range.
