About the NOVA Mini Electric Dirt Bike

The NOVA Mini is ESKUTE's mid-drive electric dirt bike. A 3500W peak motor with 220 N·m of torque sits in the middle of the frame, and ESKUTE quotes a top speed of 38 to 46 mph and off-road climbs of 35°.

The battery is a 48V 23Ah lithium pack rated for up to 53 miles, with a battery management system that guards against overheating, overcharging and short circuits. It is aimed at long trail sessions rather than quick laps.

Suspension uses nitrogen-filled hydraulic shocks front and rear. ESKUTE explains that the nitrogen stops the oil from foaming under heat and repeated hits, so damping stays consistent through a long ride. Dual hydraulic disc brakes with large rotors handle mud, water and sand, and the reinforced steel frame is rated for riders up to 265 lb.

ESKUTE says the bike is TUV certified and comes with tools for assembly. ESKUTE's spec sheet gives 14" × 3.0" front and 12" × 3.0" rear tires, an IPX4 rating and a fit range of 4'2" to 5'9". As with any bike this fast, check local age and licensing rules, and have young riders ride with adult supervision.
