About the V100 16" Fat Tire Electric Bike
The V100 is ESKUTE's compact, moped-style e-bike: small 16" wheels wrapped in 4.0" fat tires, a long saddle, and a 1500W peak motor in a frame that weighs 70.2 lb. It is the smallest bike in the range and the easiest to store, but it still carries full suspension, a 7-speed drivetrain and disc brakes front and rear.
Power comes from a 48V 13Ah battery, which ESKUTE rates for up to 60 miles in pedal-assist mode. You can ride on throttle alone, pedal with motor help, or pedal with the motor off, and the 7-speed twist-grip shifter lets you drop into a lower gear for a hill or a heavy start. ESKUTE gives the top speed at up to 28 mph.
Comfort is handled by a front suspension fork and a rear shock working with the fat tires, so curbs, park paths and broken pavement feel softer than they would on a rigid frame. Fenders front and rear, a taillight and a digital display come fitted, and ESKUTE's spec sheet adds an NFC display and a rear rack rated for 120 lb.
One safety detail is worth knowing before the first ride: the motor only engages after you give the brake lever a gentle squeeze, which stops the bike from lurching forward if the throttle is bumped while you're climbing on.
